Andrew also advises in relation to all aspects of Charity Law including establishment, reorganisation, governance issues and the duties of charity trustees.
Andrew has specialised exclusively in advising individual clients and charities for over 15 years. Andrew enjoys developing long-term relationships with clients and advising them at all stages of their lives.
Andrew has a particular expertise in Executry Administration and heads our Executry Group. Andrew has assisted numerous families with the legal issues arising following the death of a relative and clients appreciate his sympathetic and pragmatic approach.
Andrew is the rare lawyer, who enjoys and excels in working with numbers, which is very useful in providing tax planning advice and calculations to the client.

Andrew enjoys following most sports and reading (both fiction and non-fiction) but spends most of his free time chasing after his two young sons. Andrew is also an Elder and Volunteer Youth Leader at Barclay Viewforth Church of Scotland.
